Volunteers of America, Dakotas’ Floyd Career Learning Center began in 1983 as the first center of its kind in South Dakota. It helps people start or restart their careers. Employment Specialists guide participants through the services available and help them identify personal issues that may be hindering their ability to get and keep a job. We offer GED and high school diploma instruction to youth and adults in an alternative school setting. Teachers individualize instruction according to the unique needs of each student.  We collaborate with the SD Dept. of Labor and its South Dakota Career Center Sioux Falls Office.
