HIV Prevention
Volunteers of America, Dakotas' HIV Prevention Program provides educational services to high-risk youth and adults who are in treatment centers or who are incarcerated in the Rapid City area. The focus is risk reduction and education so individuals will decrease the behaviors that put them at risk for HIV.
HIV testing is offered free to participants of our HIV education program. Counseling, testing and referral services are provided to help individuals become aware of their HIV status and to reduce behaviors that lead to spreading or contracting HIV.
