Toast Our Troops Boot Campaign

This summer, Volunteers of America, Dakotas partnered with Beal Distributing, Inc. and Shiner Beers to raise funds through their ‘Toast Our Troops’ program. We are excited to announce that 12 community partners raised over $3,600 for our Veterans Services!

Since 2011, Shiner Beers ‘Toast Our Troops’ has raised over 625,000 for the The Boot Campaign, an organization that raises funds and awareness for veterans and military families. During the months of May, June, and July, a portion of each specially marked Shiner product was donated to this worthy cause. Volunteers of America, Dakotas was honored to be the 2018 recipient of the funds raised locally through this year’s Shine ‘Toast Our Troops’ Boot Campaign, and we celebrated with a check presentation and grill out at our Veterans Services Center, hosted by Beal Distributing, Inc.

A special thank you to Shiner Brewery, Arch Beal (President of Beal Distribution, Inc.), Jack Kolbeck with Beal Distributing, Inc., and our 12 community partners – Total Stop (Lennox, Freeman, and Chancellor), Fresh Horses (Harrisburg), Roadway Express (Tea), Cubby’s Convenience Stores (Sioux Falls), Citgo (Sioux Falls), Jet Truck Stop (Beresford), the Log Cabin (Sioux Falls), and the Sioux Falls area Fairway Grocery Stores.
