Written by Terry Woster, this is the story of Glenn Jorgenson who battled substance abuse disorder for many years. As Glenn recovered, he was able to found the River Park Treatment Center in South Dakota that helped countless people who suffered from substance abuse disorder. It was the first privately funded, not-for-profit treatment center in the state. Later, Jorgenson developed a widely watched television series, “It’s Great to Be Alive” which featured well-known athletes, actors, musicians and political figures who talked with him about growing up with SUD or recovering from it themselves.
