Guiding people with behavioral health needs
Guide people experiencing substance use disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Our Behavioral Health professionals also provide counseling and mental health services to individuals in the community.
Uplifting children, youth, & families
Provide guidance to youth between the ages of 7-14 in our after school programs or Camp POSTCARD. Impact people in our community through the Volunteers of America, Dakotas GreaterGoods program.
Supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing educational, residential, employment, and other community-based support in both residential and non-residential settings.
Strengthening those struggling with homelessness
Guide adolescents experiencing homelessness or support veterans experiencing homelessness through the Volunteers of America, Dakotas Axis180 program or Veterans Services.
Careers – Administration
Assist Volunteers of America, Dakotas programs and staff by providing administrative support work in the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, development, and human resources.
Employee Referral and Hiring Bonus Program
Volunteers of America, Dakotas has an Employee Referral and Hiring Program (ERHP) under which new and existing employees may be awarded bonus compensation as set forth in this policy. The purpose of the hiring bonus is to encourage new hires. The purpose of the referral bonus is to reward current Volunteers of America, Dakotas employees who identify, promote, and refer potential candidates for open positions. This program is designed to invest in a strong committed, talented, and diverse workforce.
