Dear Volunteers of America, Dakotas family,
With deep sadness, we share the news of the passing of our beloved Chaplain, Pastor Al Peratt. Pastor Al served our organization with unwavering dedication and made a lasting impact on the lives of many.
Pastor Al was not just a leader within our organization but a source of inspiration and guidance for our entire community. He brought a spirit of grace, compassion, faith, and commitment to the well-being of others that touched the hearts of everyone who worked alongside him.
During his time with us, Pastor Al contributed immensely to our mission and played a significant role in shaping the spiritual fabric of our organization. His passion for serving others and his wisdom and leadership remarkably impacted our community, staff, and those we serve. He was a faithful servant leader.
We will never forget Pastor Al’s dedication to second chances, grace, and forgiveness. His uplifting presence and the positive, gentle way he reminded us that this is God’s organization, not ours, will be missed.
Please keep Pastor Al’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. His passing leaves a void in our hearts. Still, memory will continue to inspire us, and may we find peace knowing that he is sitting (and probably singing) with God for eternity.
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. John 8:32 NIV
