This New Mexico Literacy Project DVD is an educational tool that illustrates youth-related bullying through movie clips, news articles, websites, and magazine ads. The video includes topics such as bullying over time, recent bullying incidents in the news, and activism. Youth will expand their media literacy skills by observing the difference between fantasy and reality, as well as healthy and unhealthy messages. Seventeen examples from movies, television shows, magazine ads, and the internet are provided, as well as a printable presentation guide to aid in conversation about the media examples. Designed to be used in the classroom, community organizations, and other group settings.
