MOLLY: Innocent Name Deadly Drug

DVD, 2014, HRM, CC, 16 minutes, Grades 7-College

Molly is a pure form of Ecstasy or MDMA. It is one of the newer drugs of choice for young people who falsely believe the drug is safe. Often handed out at raves and electronic music festivals, Molly is exposed as the grave danger that it really is. Interviews with former Molly users, drug experts and a parent of a teen who died after taking Molly present a message that using this drug is playing Russian Roulette with your life. The DVD includes the 16 minute film, a 21 page teacher’s resource book (PDF) with blackline master student activities, pre/post tests, fact sheets, and learning objectives.
