Book, 1998, 234 pages, Adults/Parents
This book is recommended by the National Association of Elementary School Principals among other groups. Using the developmental assets framework, this book provides more than 900 specific, concrete suggestions that will help to build assets at home, at school, in the community, and in the congregation. It includes checklists to help parents identify the assets their children already have so that attention can be given to ones they need. A section called “tips for teens, build your own assets” can help teens to shape their own success. Practical and easy to read.
