Using interviews, humor, animation, and expert commentary by leading health professionals, this DVD debunks the most common myths about sexually transmitted infections. While abstinence including abstinence from oral sex is the only way to completely avoid STI infections, the DVD stresses the importance of latex barriers for young people who are sexually active. Youth are encouraged to get tested if they have engaged in risky sex and those who have symptoms of an STI are urged to see a clinician right away. Included on this DVD are the video, 24 page teacher’s resource book (PDF) with blackline master student activities, pre/post tests, fact sheets and learning objectives.
