(C/DVD) 2011, Grades 6-12, Groundspark Meet 50 incredibly diverse students who will take viewers on a journey to see how popular pressures around gender and sexuality are shaping the lives of today’s American teens. The film will demonstrate how gender-based expectations are deeply intertwined with homophobia, and are also impacted by race, ethnicity, and social class. The curriculum provides background information on teens, gender, culture and sexuality and offers tips for bringing Straightlaced to schools and communities.
