This book contains more than 200 “critical incidents” –ethical case studies—whose complexities will heighten your ethical sensitivities and sharpen your ethical decision-making. Each vignette is accompanies by a brief analyses and discussion of the ethical and legal issues in the situation. We don’t expect readers to agree with all the points of view expressed in these analyses. The discussions are included as a way to stimulate discussion, not define ethical standards for the field.
