(C) 2009, Grade 4, Mendez Foundation “A Peace-Able Press,” presents important news about conflict in Too Good for Violence Grade 4. Through role-plays, games, and skits, students learn to listen respectfully to opinions that differ from their own and to cooperate rather than compete with each other during conflicts. Students apply their problem solving skills in a variety of situations and work to test the effectiveness of their solutions. Students also explore the challenges of bullying and discuss solutions for dealing with aggressive behavior.
